Christa is a SOVAS Voice Arts Award nominee 2020 for Audiobook Narration - History,  an Audie Award Finalist 2020 in the Original Works category for Nevertheless We Persisted #metoo, a SOVAS Voice Arts Award winner 2019 for Audiobook Narration - Best Biography, an Audie Award Finalist 2018 in the Original Works category & a Listener's Choice Awards finalist 2018  for her narration of The Dark Dark by Samantha Hunt.

Christa has been awarded 7 of the prized Earphones Awards since 2015 for her narrations; in Young Adult,  Biographies & Memoirs, and  Literary Fiction. She has narrated 200+ audiobooks for Audible Studios, Blackstone Audio, Blunder Woman Productions, Brilliance Audio, Dreamscape Media, Hachette Book Group, Harper Audio, HighBridge Company, Recorded Books, Simon & Schuster and Tantor Media as well as for noted boutique audiobook publishers & independent authors.  

Christa speaks accent-free German fluently, offers a variety of accents and dialects and has been featured in AudioFile Magazine. Her narrations have become Audible bestsellers in Young Adult and Literary Fiction. She is a classically trained actress and graduate of Boston University’s 4 year actor training program.

Christa got her start as the voice of international television news broadcaster DW-TV, and has been a regular on hundreds of cartoons, museum guides, documentaries and commercials. 

Christa was a panelist at the 2016 Audio Publishers Association Conference, at That's Voiceover 2016, and at ThrillerFest Xll 2017.
